Going Viral Was an Accident. Owning My Story Was the Choice.

Monday afternoon I shared a story in the We Do Not Care Facebook group — about changing my name, a book I wrote, and the wild twist of finding love again with my high school prom date.

  • By late Tuesday, my post had over 2,000 comments and 70,000 likes.
  • My book, Divorced After 40: A F*ck Yes Guide for Women Rewriting Their Second Act jumped back into the Top 10 on Amazon for Women & Sexuality
  • I was invited to write for and be on the January cover of a magazine with 50,000 subscribers
  • And most importantly, almost 200 new connections said: “I want to be around this kind of energy.”

But here’s the bigger truth: the numbers aren't nearly as important as THE STORY. This is what happens when you live out loud, instead of waiting for permission.

That’s also why I’m hosting the Post-AI Summit next week. It’s about the power of narrative — why story beats strategy, why your brain needs a new story right now, and how to reclaim the voice that’s been too quiet for too long.

📅 Tuesday, Sept 3rd, 12–3 PM ET, with indefinite replays on LinkedIn so you can hang out with yours truly, plus:

Because going viral is fun. But the REAL transformation happens when we write the next chapter. Together.
